OldGoa Oils and Foods Private Limited was founded by Mr. Paresh Shetgaonkar in 2006. It was launched in 2018 after 12 years of extensive research and development in Goan coconuts and their medicinal benefits to develop the best products for the local and international markets.

OldGoa is trying its best to end poverty in most parts of Goa by helping them in different ways. OldGoa helps farmers from every corner of Goa. They make sure that all coconuts are collected only from Goa to help farmers earn their daily living. The company has helped farmers get a decent price for their coconuts. They are supporting all farmers across Goa to grow their business by cultivating more and better coconuts. This helps the farmers to live a happy life.

A clean and good environment is vital for human health and well-being. OldGoa Oils and Foods Private Limited ensures that the health and well-being of humans are taken care of at every stage of life. The main goal of OldGoa products is to cure all major health issues. All products are organic in nature and chemical-free. OldGoa makes sure that no products harm the health and always ensures the safety of humans begins.

OldGoa Oils and Foods Private Limited actively helps students from Goa to frame their education. OldGoa provides scholarships for 2 deserving village children in Goa and pays for their schooling expenses for the year. OldGoa offers apprenticeship courses for students wanting to learn Coconut farming and also for working in a Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO) manufacturing plant. Besides these, OldGoa also contributes to various funds like

• Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund

• Any other fund set up by the Central Government for:

Socio-economic development and relief, for the welfare of Scheduled Castes, the Scheduled Tribes, other backward classes, minorities, and women.

OldGoa also provides education and training to needy farmers to help them flourish in their trade and help their businesses grow.

Over the past few years, OldGoa Oils and Foods Private Limited has seen decent growth and economic growth. There is growth in the production of goods and services. Over time OldGoa has expanded to more than 9 countries which include – Spain, Italy, Abu Dhabi, the USA, and many more. By taking the help of new tech, OldGoa is expanding its business by selling its products via online mode through- Amazon and Flipkart, and other shopping websites. OldGoa aims to achieve higher levels of productivity through technological innovation to expand its economic growth.

Before coming up with OldGoa products, there was extensive research made by our founder Mr. Paresh Shetgaonkar for almost 12 years on Goan coconuts and their medicinal benefits. He was more curious about how the bulk quantity of coconuts would be carefully used. He researched and traveled to different parts of the country like Chennai, Cochin, and Kerala to figure out that the extraction of oil couldn’t be done on a small scale. He realized that the scaling needed to be very high.

He went on the literature on European standards and found that there is one economic way. He realized that if the processing is done in a hygienic way people will pay good prices for it. He made sure that the right kind of air, the exact temperature, and the other important parameters were carefully taken care of. Then, he worked with engineers tried different methods, and finally started his plant. Now OldGoa product is being massively sold in more than 150+ shops.

The OldGoa products helped a lot of farmers across Goa by making them self–dependent. It also provides good help to farmers and their families by giving good and clean drinking water. They also give education and training to needy farmers to help them prosper in their businesses. The business also ensures environmental sustainability through waste management, ecological conservation, and regeneration, protection & growth of local coconut species. Thus, OldGoa is contributing its good work to society to make the world a better place.
